This vase is a unique piece of pottery and exists only once (Einzelstück).
It is handmade from white clay. To create it, I used a technique called coiling. This method has been used by humans for thousands of years and enables potters to create unique shapes without the use of a potter's wheel. The image of a dance was carved into the surface when the clay body was still unfired and wet.
Twice fired and glazed on the inside, she is waterproof and can be used as a vase.
